Most popular and fascinating online pokergame is Texas Hold'em.
52 card deck.: numbers 2-10, J, Q, K, A. All cards are in 4 different suits. Hearts (h), Clubs (c), Spades (s), Diamonds (d).
Main goal in poker is to get strongest 5 card combination on table.
Here are different 5 card combinations, starting from weakest:(X is any card)
PAIR - Two cards of the same rank. Example: A A X X X
TWO PAIRS - Two cards of the same rank and another two cards of another rank. Ex:33X99
THREE OF A KIND - Three cards of the same rank. Example: K K K X X
STRAIGHT - Five cards of sequential rank. Example: 4 5 6 7 8. (Smallest Straight is A 2 3 4 5, Biggest T J Q K A)
FLUSH - Five cards of the same suit. Example: 4c 5c Tc Ac Kc
FULL HOUSE - Three of a kind and a pair. Example: K K K 9 9
FOUR OF A KIND - Four cards of the same rank. Example: K K K K X
STRAIGHT FLUSH - A straight of entirely one suit. Example: (Th Jh Qh Kh Ah) - This is the biggest straight flush possible and it's called Royal Flush.
If no one holds any combination the the pot is taken by Highest Card.
If several players hold strongest combination, winner is decided by the kicker. Kicker is players biggest card that is not a part of combination.
Let's start!Pre-Flop (first 2 cards). The dealer deals each player their own two cards face-down (pocket cards). After that first bets are made, clockwise from dealer. Every player can make a Bet, Call, Raise or Fold his Hand. If someone Raises, then players who want to stay in must call same amount. That way every player will add same amount to the POT.
The Flop (next 3 cards). After 1st betting, dealer deals 3 community card on the table. Everyone can see those cards and use them in their 5 card combnation. New betting round occurs where every player that stayed in play can Bet, Call, Raise or Fold.
The Turn (fourth card). After betting, fourth card is dealt. Another betting round occurs.
The River (last card). After betting, fifth card is dealt. Another betting round occurs. If betting is finished every player that stayed in play will show his pocket cards (showdown) and the player who holds the best hand will take the pot.
If at some point only one player will remain in Hand (others Folded), he or she will take the pot and cards are not shown.
Blinds This rule keeps money and players in game. Blinds are two positions left from the dealer (Small Blind and Big Blind). Those players have to bet automatically certain amount. Small Blind bets 1/2 of tables minimum bet and Big Blind bets minimum bet.
