How to start?Remember that You are not alone - there are thousands and thousands newbies like You in online pokerrooms. Fear nothing as You don't have to bet any money. No one can make You lose money.
At first is wise to keep it cool and look around in pokerrooms. Look how others play and try Yourself with play-money.
1. Read the rules. You can start with Texas Hold'em. This is probably the most thrilling pokergame in online pokerrooms.
2. Go and download software for online poker, create account (use Bonus Codes for additional money) and practice with play-money! In play-money tables You can find people who are beginners as You. Sit down and start playing, practising is the best way to master. Play reasonably, don't through away your chips, but also take some risks so You can see what are the odds for succeeding.
If You concentrate and play with Your mind, You should win lots of money as other people in play-money tables are also beginners and don't care about their play-money.
3. Download Hold'em Assistant. This program calculates all odds for You and gathers information about Your opponents ( this is very inportant)! You can use it for free.
Playing with real moneyNB! Always seek for Loose tables. If there are none, do something else or look from other pokerrooms.( It is good to have account in several pokerrooms, so You can play only in Loosest tables)
4. Pick good seat in table - after Tight players and before Loose players.
5. Always raise with AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, AK, AQ, A-Js Pocket cards in Pre-flop. Raise and Re-raise with AA, KK, QQ.
6. Play with Your head, keep it cool.
7. Look what other players do:
* with what cards they raise in pre-flop
* do they bluff? do they bluff till end or not?
You can make notes about other players in many pokerrooms, use this opportunity!
8. Fold Your cards, if You know that You have lost ( for example there are 4 spades on the table and You have none and Your opponent is raising).
9. Always play with any pocket pair if there are many players seeing the flop. If You don't get three of a kind with small pair, fold Your hand.
10. Always see the flop with AXs if pot is big enough. If You won't get 2 more same suited or any pair, fold Your hand.
11. Look at the table and try to figure out what Your opponents are holding or what are they chasing.
If You can do that, You are making money.
12. Don't take pointless risks. Alwas look at the pot! If it is too small, don't take any risks and fold Your hand.
13. You will make mistakes. Write Your mistakes down and learn from them.
